Math is a language and science of patterns.
Washington has adopted learning standards developed through collaborative, public processes led by curriculum committees in Washington state, by collaborative coalitions of multiple states, and by national organizations and curriculum associations. This includes the Common Core State Standards in English language arts and mathematics.
